Claverham Community College chose Sporta Tours to devise a football and netball tour. With a group of boys and girls aged 12 to 14 years they looked to Sporta for destination guidance.

Our tour focused in the south west of the island allowing the group a three-centre itinerary taking in Colombo, Kandy and Galle.
Via a series of fixtures, the pupils enjoyed friendly competition against several teams, including the Negombo Youth U15s, Nannapurawa College and Sri Lanka’s own Manchester Academy, plus the Ave Maria Convent, Wennappuwa Convent, St. Joseph’s Girls’ School and Devi Balika College.

For Claverham Community College, a co-educational comprehensive in East Sussex, we incorporated a river-boat excursion and barbeque at sunset on arrival along with time at an elephant orphanage, a turtle hatchery and a visit to a tea factory. The school also attended a traditional ceremony at the Temple of the Sacred Tooth and explored Galle Fort, a Unesco World Heritage Site.
This tour featured direct flights, accommodation on a bed and breakfast basis with several meals included, a comprehensive programme of fixtures, training and excursions and accompanied ground transport.
