The benefits of booking with an ATOL tour operator
All holidays booked are ATOL protected with Sporta Tours. ATOL number 9684.
Government Guaranteed Protection
ATOL is a licensing scheme for travel companies which is operated by the UK’s Civil Aviation Authority. All of the flights and flight-inclusive holidays originating in the UK that we offer on this website are financially protected by the ATOL scheme. When you pay you will be supplied with an ATOL Certificate. Please ask for it and check to ensure that everything you have booked (flights, hotels and other services) is listed on it. Please see our booking conditions for further information. Or, for more information about financial protection and the ATOL Certificate go to www.atol.org.uk/ATOLCertificate
Peace of mind because you can book with confidence
ATOL regularly carries out financial checks on the travel companies it licenses every year.
If you book a complete holiday with a FULLY BONDED ATOL travel company like Sporta Tours, you will be protected. Some companies only provide part protection, ie. that they will refund you if they go out of business, but do not have the same obligations as an ATOL licensed travel company. An ATOL licensed company is responsible for each component of your holiday. If there is a problem with one of them, before you go or when you’re away, they must sort it out and provide you with help and assistance. Be sure to check the cover you have.

Beware….
If you build your own tour and book direct with an airline, hotel or overseas tour company you probably won’t be protected.
If you book your flights and hotel separately online, it may be cheaper, but your holiday and money will be at risk if one of the companies providing the components collapses. You could be left with holiday accommodation and no flight to get there, or be stranded abroad.
