Sample itinerary

All tours by Sporta are tailored to meet the requirements of each school and club we work with.  The following example itinerary for a football tour to Barcelona provides an idea of what a tour to Spain might feature:

Day 1 – Arrive at Barcelona airport following your morning flight from the UK. You will be met and taken to the world famous Camp Nou Stadium, home of FC Barcelona. After lunch you will be transferred to your beach-side hotel in one of the city’s suburbs. An early evening training session will be available should you require.

Day 2 – Morning training session followed by afternoon at leisure – perhaps beach-based or making use of the hotel facilities. In the evening transfer to a local school/club for your first fixture. Match 1 vs a local school/club. Return to your hotel.

Day 3 – After breakfast transfer to a local academy for a training session with leading Spanish coaching staff. In the afternoon visit the famous Port Aventura Theme Park (or water park seasonal option).

Day 4 – Transfer to a local school/club for your second fixture in the morning. Match 2 vs a local school/club. Afternoon recovery and leisure time or shopping trip and post-dinner activity such as beach games.

Day 5 – Transfer to a local academy for a training session with Lionel Messi’s junior coach followed by an afternoon tour of the fabulous city of Barcelona – dinner at a traditional Spanish restaurant and perhaps an evening’s fun with ten-pin bowling or transfer back to your hotel for relaxation.

Day 6 – Day of departure. Transfer to Barcelona Airport for your short homeward flight.
