This week, MCC Women, whose squad will include Charlotte Edwards and will be captained by former England top order batsman Claire Taylor, are preparing to embark on a historic tour to the United States of America and Canada, organised by us at Sporta Tours.

MCC Head of Cricket John Stephenson said “These are momentous tours for MCC in so many ways and we are delighted to be sending two strong squads to help promote the men’s and women’s game out in the US and Canada”.

The 14 night tour features four T20 games and three 50-over games, including fixtures against the USA and Canadian national sides. The team will have the opportunity to play baseball, visit Niagara falls and visit some beautiful cities along the way.

The team features an exciting mix. Edwards and Taylor will be playing alongside some of the UK’s brightest young talents, including Aylish Cranstone of Devon Women CCC.

We’re extremely excited to get this tour started and wish all involved at the MCC the best of luck!
