Marylebone Cricket Club’s (MCC) latest tour to Kenya, coordinated by Sporta Tours, will see the 13-man squad through a comprehensive itinerary of matches and coaching sessions.

The first three days of the tour will be spent in Nairobi for matches against Kenya Kongonis Cricket Club and Kenya Select XI. The squad will then travel 100 miles north to Nakuru for a Rift Valley Invitational XI at the Rift Valley Sports Club.

After a T20 against the Kenya under-19s, a 2-day match has also been scheduled against the Kenyan national side at Nairobi Gymkhana. Further matches against Kenya will be played at the Nairobi Jaffery Sports Club before returning to the UK.

In between matches, MCC’s itinerary also incorporates a number of coaching sessions at local schools and clubs. For more information on the tour, including the squad line-up, visit Lords.org.

Sporta Tours involvement with MCC is long-standing. According to managing director Matthew Jackson “It’s a real pleasure to be a chosen partner for MCC. Our team works globally with a number of professional teams and a wide range of amateur clubs and schools, and we’re proud to count MCC among them.

“Every tour demands the same level of detailed planning and on-the-ground knowledge. Coupled with our experience, this ensures an excellent experience for our clients, many of whom tour with us time and time again.”
