This year’s ARCH cricket tournaments in the UAE saw 18 teams compete across 3 tournaments at 10 beautiful venues to produce 2019’s Tournament Champions.
Congratulations go to Cheltenham College (UK) who claimed the 1st XI ARCH Trophy, Gillespie Academy (Australia) who took the U15A ARCH Cup, and Epsom College (UK) who won the U15B Shield. The 1st XI Trophy was particularly close, with 4 out of the 6 participating teams tied on 4 wins each at the close of the tournament, which meant the champions had to be decided by run rate – a first for the tournament in it’s 12 year history!
Our thanks to everyone who contributed to the special atmosphere that characterises ARCH. A special thank you must go to our team of ECB ACO umpires, who volunteered their time to travel out to the UAE for the tournament.
