Sydney Sixers and Sydney Thunder Women’s teams will both tour the UAE for a training camp during June 2016, hosted by Sporta Tours.
The training will take place at the world class ICC Global Cricket Academy in Dubai, and the tour will also feature a T20 match between the two sides at the Zayed Cricket Stadium in Abu Dhabi on Sunday 5th June.
Whilst on tour, both sides are keen to promote Women’s cricket in the UAE. To this end, journalists are invited to two open sessions for taking photos and conducting one-on-one interviews. The UAE Women’s Cricket Team as well as local school children have been invited to these sessions too to train and meet with the Sydney teams respectively.
