Sri Lanka is a fabulous destination for school sports tours, with cricket, hockey, football and rugby all widely played. It offers excellent value for money on the ground, matched with incredible hospitality, all set against the backdrop of wonderful wildlife and scenery.
Sporta Tours have been taking schools and teams to the country for a number of years. In that time we have developed relationships with a number of excellent accommodation partners and sporting facilities, and created a varied programme of excursions.
We focus on an area to the mid and south-west of the country, taking in such places as Colombo, Negombo, Pinnawala, Kandy and Galle, depending on schools’ individual itinerary requirements and sport(s).
It was the destination of choice for Hampton School, who experienced an 11-day tour over the New Year. Sri Lanka Sports Tour Inspection Trip – October half term 2017
